What do we do?
The breeding of dressage horses began in 1990 when Salla found Wahr-Heit (Weltstar, Allegro), the broodmare. The mare was bought with a foal out of Agent (Argentan). At the beginning breeding was a hobby, now it has become a main source of income. The center of action is a little farm in Southeast Finland, a house and stables by a pond.

 

The goal is to breed horses with high quality and lot of capacity: competitors to dressage arenas. High quality guarentees interest also from abroad.

 

The sires are chosen with care. They are foreign and domestic stallions from good dressage families. Foals born last summer are out of Don Frederico (Donnerhall, Consul), Ramanov (Concorde, Damiro), Rotspon (Rubinstein I, Argentan I) and Rosenstolz 127 (Rosenkavalier, Milan). In 2009 the sire is thoroughbred stallion Ruffian Reef xx.

 

Foals are shown in annual shows arranged in Ypäjä.

The basic training of foals is given at home. The training is given first from ground and then with a rider. By using natural horsemanship foals are very responsive and easy to handle.

 

Salla also train riders and keep courses conserning handling and riding.
